Innkeeper (Seasonal)

Hourly Wage: $15.00
Anticipated Hours: 16-30 as scheduled

Work at the historic Two Harbors lighthouse as a B&B innkeeper! The Innkeeper welcomes guests to the Lighthouse Bed and Breakfast by offering insights into local events and providing a brief history of the lighthouse. The innkeeper is also tasked with cleaning the lighthouse quarters, plating snacks, and laundering linens. Applicants must be able to negotiate stairs several times each day. Work schedule may include holidays and weekend shifts.
 
Position Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
• Ability to negotiate stairs multiple times each day
• Have good verbal and written communication skills
• Have interest in local & regional history
• Reliable mode of transportation and phone
• Ability to multi-task & have good time management skills

• Welcome and assist guests to Bed & Breakfast
• Complete check-in and check-out procedures for reservations
• Provide information on lighthouse and local history as well as events
• Plate baked goods for guests
• Prepare linens and supplies for the next day
• Maintain a clean and organized B&B
• Water flowers and house plants as needed
• Attend Staff meetings
• Support lighthouse B&B activities and other duties as assigned

• $200 merchandise incentive after first 90 days.
• 48 hours Earned Sick & Safe Time to use or be paid out at end of year
