Title: Data Entry Clerk
Location: Centreviews’ Solution Delivery Center, Two Harbors, MN
Supervision: Production Supervisors

The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for capturing and entering data into Centreviews’ solutions for automating our customers’ processes associated with accounts payable, accounts receivable, or other back office tasks. The Data Entry Clerk must be able to accurately and quickly enter data while strictly following all steps outlined by the data entry standards contained within the processing guides. The Data Entry Clerk will also be responsible for meeting customer expectations on service level initiatives (meeting turnaround times) and maintaining production goals along with be a great team member.
 
This position is part of the larger Centreviews and will provide employment growth opportunities through multiple career paths.  The customer-centric growth path will provide career opportunities as a Production Support Specialist and progressing to a Customer Care Representative.  The more technical-centric growth path will provide career opportunities as a Data Extraction Specialist progressing to a Bot Support Associate and to a Bot Support Representative.  The Bot Support team monitors and manages the Centreviews’ Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions work to eliminate our customers’ manual and repetitive tasks in their back office. 

 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Approx. Time)
  1. Production Standards (90%)
    • Data entry of scanned and e-mailed images while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
    • Successful adherence to data entry standards for each application.
    • Accurately calculating figures and exercising sound judgment when processing invoices.’
    • Meeting productivity standards while working within defined timelines established by customer.
    • Bringing any issues or concerns with documents to the Production Lead’s or Production Services attention. 
  2. Administrative (5%)
    • Completion of work order sheets which includes accurately totaling page and document counts.
  3. Training/development (5%)
    • All other duties as assigned.
    • Ongoing development of knowledge of multiple applications through extensive training.
 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND EQUIPMENT OPERATION:
The Data Entry Specialist II will engage in occasional lifting and transporting of packages that may weigh between 5-40 lbs. The Data Entry Specialist II must possess the ability to work with a computer or scanner and stay stationary for long periods of time up to 8 hours a day, also must possess ability to engage in repetitive hand and arm movements for up to 8 hours a day; depending on role (full-time or part-time with reduced hours).
 
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

·High school diploma or equivalent required. 
·Associate’s degree preferred.

Experience:
  • Prior data entry work experience required.
  • Previous accounting experience desired, but not required.
 
Skills & Knowledge:
  • Must possess intermediate knowledge on how to operate a computer. 
  • Must also hold the ability to learn quickly, be self-motivated, and have the desire to work well within a team-oriented environment. 
  • Strong task orientation, keen attention to detail on two computer monitors, and the ability to remain focused within a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive “can-do” attitude.
  • Ability to perform calculations, exercise sound judgment, and possess ability to continue to acquire knowledge of how to process multiple invoice types for different customers.
  • Ability to follow and successfully repeat multiple and complex invoice processing steps while appropriately acting on exceptions outlined in the processing guides.
  • Willingness to work in all areas of the facility as needed, with the ability to operate other office machines (i.e. copier).
  • Must be punctual, maintain a positive attendance record, and accurately record time on the time clock.
